#IWSG: Inspirational Quotes

It’s the first Wednesday of the month, which means it’s time for the Insecure Writer’s Support Group. The IWSG is the brainchild of Ninja Captain, Alex J. Cavanaugh. If you haven’t already, stop by and see what it’s all about!

Can you believe I almost forgot to post for IWSG today?

I can. My life has been crazy busy the last few weeks. I didn’t know it was possible to fit this much stuff into 24 hours, 7 days a week and come out (mostly) sane.

Still, I can’t miss this! So, this month I’ve decided to put up some inspirational quotes. They’re on life, writing, and just being in general=) Enjoy and I’ll see you tomorrow for Thirsty Thursday!

“Genius is one percent inspiration and ninety-nine percent perspiration.”  — Thomas Edison

“When one door of happiness closes, another one opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us.”  — Helen Keller

“Progress is impossible without change, and those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything.”  — George Bernard Shaw

“Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”  — Ralph Waldo Emerson

“If you don’t have time to read, you don’t have the time (or the tools) to write. Simple as that.”  — Stephen King

“Failure is simply the opportunity to begin again, this time more intelligently.”  — Henry Ford

“Success is going from one failure to the next with enthusiasm.”  — Winston Churchill

I hope everyone has a wonderful September!
